ARCS Foundation Minnesota is recognizing Dr. Michael Osterholm as our “Scientist of the Year” for his research in infectious diseases and contributions to help us understand the complexity of the coronavirus pandemic. This is a unique opportunity to hear and ask questions of Dr. Osterholm. He will provide up-to-date information about COVID-19, and will address your concerns about this ever-changing challenge.

About Dr. Osterholm
Dr. Osterholm PhD, MPH holds multiple positions at the University of Minnesota:

  • Regents Professor, McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Public Health 
  • Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP)
  • Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health 

Dr. Osterholm is a nationally recognized expert on the pandemic and other infectious diseases. On November 9, 2020 he was named a member of President-elect Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board.
