Josh vander Hook is a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis); his mentor is Dr. Volkan Isler.
Join us in Josh's lab to learn about his doctoral research that is based on his interest "in tracking and pursuit algorithms which can provide time or energy guarantees". Adds Josh, "I enjoy working on real-world applications of pursuit-evasion games." We are confident you, too, will enjoy hearing about and seeing Josh's research firsthand!
Learn more about Josh at his webpage, jvanderhook.com, his recent conference paper, and a 2013 presentation (with photos and videos about using robots to locate and capture invasive carp!).
